It’s hard to believe that it’s been over a quarter century since I first met Bev Hutchison and asked her to be my realtor.  It was a very good decision as it turns out.

I needed to downsize and find a new home and sell the one that I had lived in for many years. I was overwhelmed at the time, because I didn’t know exactly where to go. I was looking for a house or townhouse somewhere in Pickering or Ajax and there was a lot to narrow down to find the right home for me. I must say I took forever looking for just the right place and I seriously doubt that most realtors would have had the patience that Bev did with me. She showed me so many homes for well over a year and never once became irritated or frustrated with me. I can’t tell you how important this was to me. I would apologize to her continuously for having to say that every new place wasn’t the right one and she would immediately tell me not to worry and that when I found the right place I would know it. Eventually that happened and Bev handled the negotiations perfectly. I’ve never been one to bargain and was thankful that she was able to do that for me. On the other end, she helped me to sell my own home at a good price and in a good time. Looking back, Bev helped everything to work seamlessly. I can’t thank her enough. I’ve never forgotten her kindness with me. They say angels come into your life when you need them and Bev was that angel for me.

Fast-forward 20 years and I needed to find a new home and wanted to live in Pickering. I immediately contacted Bev, who now worked with her daughter, Regan, to help me find a condominium this time. Regan is patient like her mother, it seems, and I was able to find my new home where I am exceptionally happy. Once again, as a team, they were able to get me the home I wanted and negotiated a price that was fair. I consider myself very lucky to live where I am now.
